Oh my, a new episode. I sure am timely with these things huh? I had meant to do a show about 7 months ago after I watch a show called "Claymore." It's a lot like Berserk meets Dragon Ball Z. However I didn't have a sound card in my rebuilt machine and recordings with my microphone sounded horrible so I passed on that. But I'm finally back with something. I'm always amazed at how people seem to randomly stumble upon this podcast even when it doesn't update. The wonders of the internet.
In this show I review Resident Evil: Afterlife and Marvel vs Capcom 3. RE: Afterlife isn't a videogame but it's based off one and the only movie review podcast I listen to (the greatest movie ever) hasn't been showing video game movies any love lately so I figured I would. Picking Marvel vs Capcom 3 for the second review was a no brainer. I'd been playing that game like crazy. I've made myself stop because I have like 3 other newly purchased games that I need to play.

L'cie Lack Focus
Episode 9!!!! I actually recorded this and posted it a few days ago but I haven't gotten around to updating the blog page. I had wanted to give my thoughts and opinions on all of the stuff I've watched and played since the last episode but I only have a 50 mb limit on my libysn account at the moment. I wanted to try and keep the file size down just encase I wanted to get another show up without having to wait a month.
I pretty much spend the episode spoiling Final Fantasy XIII so listen at your own risk. There were a lot of things that I wanted to mention that I forgot to talk about since I pretty much just rambled for awhile. I had also wanted to mix in sound clips from the game but I couldn't find and youtube clips with english voice acting and I don't have the means to rip clear audio from games myself (gotta get a capture card one of these days). Hopefully I'll talk about anime next time. I also forgot to mention Alex from Anime Pacific when I mentioned their show, my bad ><.

New show coming soon
Yeah, gonna do another episode shortly. I've been meaning to do it for ages but lazyness has always gotten the better of me. I've actually been podcasting all this time but on a Final Fantasy XI blog/podcast instead. A few weeks ago Dane from Anime Pacific mentioned this show on his podcast after I sent them a voicemail. I was a little upset about that. I appreciated the gesture but the reminder of how I'd slacked on the show for over a year filled me with shame and the last episode I did was pretty bad. I had been perfectly happy to leave the show dead and forget about it but now I feel obligated to do a few more shows. Dammit!
Anywho, I don't know what the next show will be about. It'll probably mainly be a catch up show but I'll try to do at least one review. I'll most likely pick a movie or short show to review just to make it easier on me. Anyways, bed time.

Microphone is broke
*sigh* I was all excited to be back but it seems fate is against me. My microphone doesn't want to work (well, I hope it's just the microphone). I dunno what to do. I'm behind on a few bills right now so I probably won't be able to buy a new mic until May... but we'll see. Maybe something will come up.

Street Fightin' like a monsta!
OMG, I've finally released a new episode. It's been a long time but I guess that's par for the course for me. Much to my suprise even after a year people are still randomly downloading episodes of the show. I don't know where you newcomers are coming from but it fills my heart with pride to see that episodes are still being downloaded. That being said, the download rate has dropped pretty low. Not that this show was ever popular but the numbers were going up, but my lazyness killed that and now I have to start over again. I'll be interested to see what the numbers are like for this episode.
I review Street Fighter 4 and the anime Street Fighter: The Ties that bind. This show is a bit dry even by my standards but I played the game and watched the movie weeks ago so a lot of things about them were a little hazy to me now. But I'm happy I did something.

Age of Conan
Desert Punk....
That's it for this week. The song at the end is the english version of the second intro theme to Desert Punk. I don't know who sings it but I assume it's one of the voice actors on the show.

Full Moon Sways
I'm back with Experiment 6. I continued my job hunting quest down in Texas, while there I made a side trip down to Houston to check out Tekken 6, so I have a little bit to say about that. I also talk about Blassreiter and the Anime Pacific podcast stopping. I then move on a review the anime, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad. There isn't a game review this time but I do talk about Army of Two for about 3 seconds at the end. I guess you can consider the Tekken 6 talk a game review.

--5 minutes 30 seconds-- Opening theme to Beck: Hit in the USA by Beat Crusaders.
-- 5 minutes 57 seconds-- Review: Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad

--19 minutes 57 seconds-- Review: Closer
I end the show with "Moon on the Water" one of if not my favorite anime song. It's a bit "engrishy" but I don't think the singer on the dubbed version sounds as good so I put the Japanese version one. I have to head out of town this week so maybe I'll pick up something for review while I'm gone. I thinking about getting Paprika or Appleseed: Ex Machina but I'll probably end up not buying anything...
The next show will probably be pretty sort since I have to keep the file size down but the one after that will be the standard 1 anime, 1 game format.
